Educational Qualifications

• Deputy Superintendent Jail / Lady Assistant Superintendent Jail:
  • 16 years education in Public Admin, Business Admin, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminology, Political Science, or LLB.
• Assistant Director (IT – Network/DB Admin):
  • 16 years education (1st Division) in CS, CE, IT, Software Engg with Networking/Database as major.
  • 2 years relevant experience in public/private registered with SECP.
• Law Officer:
  • LLB (2nd Division), Member Punjab Bar Council, 2 years active advocacy.
• Psychologist:
  • MS/MPhil or 16 years (2nd Division) in Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology / Behavioral Sciences.
  • 3 years relevant experience.
• Assistant Director (IT – Software Developer):
  • 16 years education (1st Division) in Software Engineering.
  • 2 years experience as Software Developer.
• Assistant Superintendent Jail:
  • 16 years education (2nd Division).

Physical Standards

For Deputy & Assistant Superintendent Jail (Male)

• Height: 173 cm
• Chest: 85 cm (unexpanded) – 90 cm (expanded)
• Vision: 6/6 without glasses

For Lady Assistant Superintendent Jail (Female)

• Height: 158 cm
• Weight: Max 70 kg (+2 kg for every extra 3 cm height)
• Vision: 6/6 without glasses

Written Test Syllabus

One paper of MCQs (100 marks – 90 minutes) based on:

• General Knowledge
• Pakistan Studies
• Islamic Studies / General Knowledge for Non-Muslims
• Geography
• Basic Mathematics
• English
• Urdu
• Everyday Science
• Basic Computer Studies

Medical Certificate Requirements

• Must be issued by DHQ or Services Hospital Lahore.
• Dated on or before the closing date.
• Must include all physical measurements, photo, and signature/stamp of MS.
• Certificates from private/Tehsil hospitals will not be accepted.
• No overwriting or illegible entries.
• Must be within 3 months prior to the closing date.

Important Notes

• No age/education/physical standard relaxation.
• Transgender eligibility based on CNIC.
• Medical exam mandatory post-selection.
• No change in test centre allowed after schedule announcement.
• Private experience only valid if company is SECP or legally registered.
• Experience must be post-qualification.
